Booking & Reservations

How do I book a charter?

Select your experience on our website, choose an available date and time, and complete the booking through our secure checkout. A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance. During peak season (December–April), we suggest booking 1–2 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date.

Can I make a same-day booking?

Same-day bookings are subject to availability. Please call or WhatsApp us directly at (242) 470-2500 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

How do I modify or cancel my booking?

Log in to your booking confirmation email and follow the modification link, or contact us directly at info@saltyescapesbahamas.com. Please review our cancellation policy before making changes.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Google Pay. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is collected at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due prior to departure. Deposit amounts vary by journey.

Is my payment secure?

Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Do you offer refunds?

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable. If we cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

The Experience

What is included in the charter?

All journeys include a professional captain and crew, snorkeling gear, towels, a cooler with ice, and water. Food and beverages beyond water can be arranged for an additional fee or brought aboard by guests.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a light cover-up, and any personal medications. A change of clothes is a good idea for longer trips. Leave valuables at home.

How many guests can the yacht accommodate?

The Sapphire Sea is a 53-foot Leopard power catamaran that comfortably accommodates up to 30 guests. Private charters are available for smaller groups.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome aboard. We ask that all children under 12 wear a life jacket at all times on deck. Life jackets in various sizes are available onboard.

Is the yacht wheelchair accessible?

We do our best to accommodate guests with limited mobility. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss the best way to ensure a comfortable experience.

Location & Logistics

Where do we depart from?

We depart from Spanish Wells, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Exact meeting point details will be provided in your booking confirmation email.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. If conditions are unsafe, we will contact you as early as possible to reschedule or issue a full refund. We monitor weather closely and communicate proactively.

What are your operating hours?

We operate year-round, 7 days a week. Departure times vary by journey and are listed during the booking process. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.

Do you offer hotel or airport transfers?

We can assist with referrals for local transportation. Please contact us at info@saltyescapesbahamas.com and we'll connect you with trusted local partners.

Custom & Private Charters

Can I customize my experience?

Absolutely. We love creating custom experiences for special occasions — birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, corporate events, and more. Contact us to discuss your vision.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages aboard. Please note that glass containers are not permitted on deck for safety reasons.

Do you allow alcohol?

Guests may bring their own alcohol. We ask that all guests drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests who appear intoxicated before boarding.
